Dear Ms. Nix:
The improvements in the above referenced project were inspected during construction by the City
of Coppell Engineering Department and were installed according to plans and our specifications
governing such work.
As of April 24, 1997, the facilities were accepted subject to the standard two -year maintenance
agreement. This office was not supplied with a copy of the bond covering erosion control, so I was
unaware of its existence. Such bonds are subject to a retention obligation of two years unless there
are maintenance deficiency issues that must be corrected. I am happy to report that those
conditions do not exist for this project, therefore, the obligation covered by the bond was fulfilled
as of April 24, 1999. Please feel free to call me if I can be of further assistance.
