Dear Sean:
The attached letter was sent to John Capko of your company on July 17, 2003. A decision was made
last year to postpone paving repairs due to construction conflicts in the area. Those conflicts are no
longer an issue, therefore, the paving failures that existed at that time and those that have occurred in
the interim still need to be corrected. The area of the repairs is from Creekview Drive to Bethel Road.
According to the maintenance bond covering this work, the deficiencies must be corrected in a timely
manner and in accordance with City of Coppell inspection standards. This is the second notice to your
company regarding repairs to be done under the terms of the maintenance bond. The third notice will
go to the company that issued the bond.
Please contact me at 972 304 -3684 immediately so that I can arrange to have the necessary pavement
marking done prior to your crews beginning the repair work.
