Dear Mr. Wehkamp:
On August 3, 1992 you requested a variance to the Subdivision Ordinance to change the
thickness on the concrete parking lot at the 6" to 5 ". You also
requested the lime stabilization requirement be waived.
On August 11, 1992, I submitted a request to the City Council for a variance to the thickness of
the concrete. The Council did vary the thickness requirements from 6" to 5 ". Also, our
Subdivision Ordinance allowed the Engineering Department to waive the lime stabilization if the
PI was between 6 and 12. The soil report you submitted showed that the PI for this property was
between 9 and 10. Therefore, the requirement for the lime stabilization has also been waived.
