RE: wagon Wheel Park Creek Crossing, Bermuda Grass Sod
Dear Mr, Green,
On August 6, 2003, I received pay application no. 5 for the Creek Crossing at Wagon Wheel Park project.
One of the line items in this pay request is $26,789.00 for 1654 sy ofbermuda sod. At this time the sod
work has not been accepted. Myself as well as Larry Davis (construction inspector) have informed Skip
Marshall that none of the bermuda sod would be accepted dead. It should be noted that the sod was not
installed to the specifications of the contract. If you refer to section 3.05 -C it clearly states how solid sod
was to be installed, and section 3.08 details the guidelines for establishment & acceptance. To date none of
these specifications have been followed to get a stand of betmude grass. At this time the City of Coppell is
not willing to pay for this bermuda sod work. 1 would ask that you view the work in person and get back to
me your recottu nendatiom of how Green Scaping can rectify this problem. I would also ask that you
re- submit pay request no. 5, and deduct the $26, 789,00 for the bermuda sod.
