Rick O'Dell said the rebar was one of the few things correctly installed. He didn't get to see it on the far
south section of the fire lane before they poured it but he's comfortable with the steel (and the color of the
concrete - ha).
I'm not impressed with the engineer's letter either but - at least we have it in writing that he has confidence
in the fire lane although it doesn't meet our specs. Thanks!

You know, I really hate it when people expect me to actually work when I'm here! :-)
I'm not all that comfortable with the engineers letter. I would feel a lot more comfortable if I can get
something from your office showing that the rebar was installed correctly or if we don't have that proof,
tests need to be done showing the rebar is the correct size and the placement is correct. I don't think that
would be too much to ask of them considering the fire lane does not meet our specs. What do you think?
