Duel was the only complaint I've received. I'm guessing the others have figured out the other end of Lake Vista and they come in that way. Eric >>> Teresa Turner 11/04/02 03:15PM >>> Eric: FYI - I have contacted the City Traffic Engineer in Lewisville and he said that they will look into this situation. I have also called Mr. Duel to let him know the status. Let me know if you receive any other calls and /or complaints. Thanks. Teresa >>> Eric Debus 10/30/02 1:20:09 PM >>> Thank You!!! >>> Teresa Turner 10/30/02 11:53AM >>> Eric - It's interesting that this issue came up when it did. I have been working with the residents of the Vistas of Coppell to reduce cut - through traffic in the subdivision. One suggestion was to restrict u -turns at Lake Vista in the mornings on school days. What makes this difficult is that the intersection of Lake Vista /MacArthur is actually in Lewisville and it would be up to them to post the signs and also to provide enforcement. I will call him and talk with him about the situation. Thanks. Teresa >>> Eric Debus 10/30/02 11:10:24 AM >>> Hi Teresa, I got a complaint from a guy for the following problem: He drives south into Coppell on MacArthur from Lewisville. He then turns east onto Lake Vista. Several vehicles traveling north on MacArthur make a u -turn at Lake Vista to then head west on Forest Hill. He and his co- workers at Genuity are having near collisions with northbound MacArthur traffic because they can't see around the u- turners. I explained that the city would probably be reluctant to put in a "no u- turn" sign because of the number of residents that access Forest Hill. He then asked about adding a turn lane at Forest Hill. Could you call him and answer the questions I can't? Joseph Duel - 214 789 2396 Thanks, Eric _ VI S o Co p2l l 67y _T
