This is pursuant to our recent discussions concerning the drainage between the Callahan Addition and
The Coloniel Self Storage Facility. I spoke with Bryan Chandler, the owner of the adjacent property,
and we discussed some possible solutions to his drainage concerns.
Some of the ideas included having you grade a small Swale near the southern property line to help
direct the irrigation runoff to the existing wye inlet at the back of the properties. You had also
menrioned that you would be willing to use the excess material to slightly raise the ground level behind
the storage buildings.
Mr. Chandler and I discussed that fact that some minor drainage issues were likely existing prior to the
constrnction of the Callahan Addition and that the problem has been exacerbated by the addition of the
irrigation system. I understand that you have been watering extensively to help the new sod become
established but that this is only ashort-term issue,
