Bethel Road at Freeport Pkwy

Attaced is a drawing file and a points file for Bethel Road & Freeport
Parkway, as well as the conceptional channel improvements from Freeport
Parkway to Coppell Road. Currently we are showing two through lanes and
a right turn lane for west bound Bethel Road at the NE corner of Bethel
& Freeport and two through lanes for east bound Bethel Road at the SE
corner of Bethel & Freeport. Originally, we thought a transition would
start at some point east of the curb returns (or back side of the median
nose) and taper back to the existing two lane Bethel Road. However, if a
right turn lane is put in, the transition may have to be moved further
east. After you've had a chance to look this data over, please call and
we can set up a meeting to coordinate our designs. I'm not a 100 percent
sure how it was last left with the City as far as right and left turn
lanes, so we may want to have our meeting at the City and get their
input. I'm also sending you a hard copy of our P&P sheet for the Bethel
Road & Freeport Pkwy intersection.
