RE: Denton Tap Road
Dear Mr. Palmer:
Mayor Sheehan and I appreciated the opportunity to visit with you on Monday afternoon regarding your
future plans, as well as our plans for the reconstruction of Denton Tap Road.
City Council will be issuing $3.2 million in Certificates of Obligation with the process for that issuance
to begin October 14, the bonds to be issued and funds on hand in November. We anticipat~ a December
bid-letting, with construction to begin shortly thereaRer. Based on our construction estimates, the project
will take approximately between twelve and fifteen months to complete, depending on weather and any
other unforeseen circumstances. When completed Denton Tap Road will be a six-lane, divided roadway,
which would serve your facility as well as the developing areas north of Denton Creek within the City
of Coppell.
We look forward to working with you as you continue to evaluate the potential for a Presbyterian
Healthcare System facility within the City of Coppell. We are excited about this potential addition to our
community, and please do not hesitate to contact us at any time if we can be of assistance.
