Teresa,
Since it looks like this project is on hold for a while, my intent was to
get one set of stamped plans for our files and one for our client's. Once
the project is back on track, I was going to get additional sets stamped for
the contractor. We can't calculate the inspection fee yet since no
construction contract has been finalized.
If you don't mind, I think I will take you up on your offer to store the
approved sets for a while.

I received 5 sets of plans from you this morning. We need 3 sets and
you are requesting 2 sets which would only leave the contractor with one
set. Was this your intention?
I can go ahead and sign the plans but we typically don't release them
until a Construction Development Permit has been approved, engineering
inspection fees are paid, and apre-con is held. I'm fine with
approving the plans and storing them until construction.
Let me know if I'm misunderstanding something. Thanks.
