FROM COTTONWOOD CREEK TO LEWISVILLE CITY LIMITS, Coppell, TX We have been retained by the City of Coppell to design improvements to Denton-Tap Road from Cottonwood Creek to the Lewisville city limits. The improvements include reconstruction and widening of Denton-Tap Road. The existing 2-lane county road will be replaced with a six-lane divided arterial roadway. The project also involves replacement of the existing bridge that crosses Denton Creek. Necessary protection for the bridge will be placed during construction The disturbed slopes which are not covered by concrete will be re-seeded with native grasses. In addition, a recreational trail will be located beneath the bridge. The enclosed plans show the locations of the erosion protection and recreational trail. At this time we request that the Corps of Engineers delineate any 404 jurisdictional areas and confirm that this project is in compliance with permit requirements. We anticipate that this work qualifies under two separate Nationwide permits. Please review the enclosed plans and advise us of any additional requirements.
