Can I get an update on where Dallas County stands with the Sandy Lake
Project. It has been so long since I have had any dealings with Dallas
County concerning this project. I had been working with David McSwain
before he left for active duty and I have not talked with anyone until
you called. As you know, I sent a letter to Don Holzwarth asking that
all or a portion of the funding be allocated to Section "A". The
preliminary pians for Section "A" should be complete in November and I
need to know how to proceed. Do we need to have a Charette Meeling and
is there any kind of agreement that needs to be presented to the City
Council for approval. I would appreciate any help you can give me on
following the necessary steps for the funding.

I spoke wi Alberta Robinson,PE Public Works Assistant Director regarding your letter dated 2/5/03
requesling Dallas County to move all or a portion of $1 ,300,000 for the construclion of phase "A" on
Sadny Lake Road (SH 121 to Freeport Parkway) project.
Dallas County staff shared your request with Commissioner ,and it was decided not to parlicipate on
seclion "A" ,but will participate for section "B".which is scheduled to start in June 2007,

Have you heard anything on the easements? I e-mailed Dave Prejean
yesterday about the status of the easments, but have not heard
anything,
Did David McSwain leave Dallas County? I talked with AIi Malekouli the
other day about the Sandy Lake project and the cost participalion by
Dallas County, Do you have Ali's e-mail address so that I can see where
the project funding stands?
