Subject: Dallas County Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement (CMAQ) Program
Escrow Request for Construction — Project 10
Dear Mr. Griffin:
We are pleased to inform you that the attached construction letting documents for Project 10, submitted
by USA Engineers, Inc, have been transmitted to TxDOT Austin by the Dallas District. The project is
scheduled for a December 2003 letting. The TxDOT estimated construction costs with the 14.5% E & C
charges is $160,325.73.
In order for the letting to proceed as scheduled, we request that the City expedite payment in the amount
of $32,065.14. This amount represents 20% (local share) of the project and the remaining 80% will be
paid by FHWA as shown on the attached spreadsheet.
Please make the check payable to Dallas County and submit to the address below:
