Preliminary Construction Drawings

Dear Ms. Taylor,
Please find enclosed two copies of preliminary construction drawings dated October 10, 2003 for the
above referenced project for the City's review. Please provide us with any comments / revisions that you
have so that we may incorporate them into the final drawings. Upon receiving the City's comments
and/or approval, we will furnish final construction drawings and specifications within three (3) working
days.
One specific item that we wish the City to address is whether or not to include a provision (either as a
paid contract item or subsidiary) for replacement of the trees that are to be removed for construction of
the wall. This would not include the two trees at the staging area, which are to be replaced at the
Contractor's expense should he elect to remove them per the current plan.
An opinion of probable cost of construction of the detailed improvements has also been included. Thank
