Barrier Free Ramps
Suzan,
The current ADA standards allow for a comer ramp, with 48" clearance in the
crosswalk. See the attached detail.
We have heard that the law may be changed in the future to require separate
ramps for all directions. We don't know the status of this proposed change.
Would The City like us to design the ramps as comer ramps or separate ramps
for each direction?

12" water line
Suzan,
As I reviewed the plans you had sent me for the 12" water line on the south
side of the road, I see that the 1997 plans for Riverview had tied into an
existing 12" line to the west (at Riverchase).
We don't have plans or information for any 12" water line to the west, Does
The City have more information? Does the 12" line just keep following the
ROW line along the entire length of the road? We'd like to show it since we
are revising the drawings now.
