Dear Mr. Griffin:
thank you for your letter of September 22, indicating that
the answers to my questions will be presented at the meeting
on October 3.
It also seems to me that some other fears might be put
to rest by addressing these additional items.
(1) Statements by experts on the known effects of EMS -
or lack there of.
(2) History of traffic accidents or lack there of in nearby
communities with similar transmission pole construction in
medians
(3) Testimony by independent appraisers about the effects
on adjacent property values with the poles in the various
configurations being explored.
(4) If power poles are a hazard, what about the proposed
lighting standards?
Thanks again. I definitely plan to attend the October
3 meeting.
