Introduction of Plans
a, Browse plans for broad explanation of design and some assumptions made
during the preliminary design phase
b, Highlight areas that may differ from schematic plans or that need additional
detail during final design
c, Location of signal lights - Pole locations at Royal Lane and State Road shall
be conducive to future extension to the north. Ensure that mast arms are
adequate to provide left turn signalization. TNP to evaluate the location of
the pole in the median at Coppetl Road North.
d, Location of median openings in Royal Lane - Add median opening for
southbound left turn into drive near Station 10+00, Relocate inlet on
southbound lane to accommodate future drive to the west,

Transitions to existing pavements
a. West end-four (4) lane extension to S.H, 121
TNP to pursue the 4-lane transition to the northbound seNice road for S,H. 121
and coordinate with TxOOT
b, East end-curb & gutter section
No curb and gutter but divided with grass in the median. TNP to evaluate
drainage options,
III.
Construction Sequencing Plan
Need to provide pedestrian crossing from the Oakbend Addition to the north
along Coppell Road North. Plans need to indicate that Coppell Road North to

be closed only during summer months when school is out. City does not want a
detour plan that promotes routing traffic through residential streets, TNP to re-
evaluate the closure time for Coppell Road North.
IV. Pavement Marking Plan
Suzan to check on revised standards regarding typesllayout of buttons.
Signage will be handled the same way as on East Sandy Lake Road. Speed
limit will be the same as it is posted now,
V. Existing Irrigation Systems
This will be handled with a pay item and clearly defined with very specific
details in the Specifications including noting the locations of existing irrigation
systems, The area in front of the Oakbend Addition will be coordinated with
the Home Owners' Association
VI. Utility Coordination
Date for quarterly utility coordination meeting set as: November 13, 2003 at
2:00 pm. TNP to send preliminary plans to utility companies prior to meeting,
Suzan and Matt to coordinate on utility contact information.

VII. Right of Way
TNP to prepare right of way exhibit for the parcel on the southwest comer of
West Sandy Lake Road and Royal Lane. All other parcels will be prepared
when City has reviewed preliminary plans,

VIII. Landscape Issues
a, Setup meeting with Parks Department & Newman, Jackson, Bieberstein,
