We're not sure that a pre- seeded mat would have as good a germination
rate as seeding the slope directly, since the loft of the mat suspends
the seeds in the air. However, we will look into the N.A.G. cell -o -seed
as well as other alternatives.
For now, on the pay item descriptions, maybe you could include a general
item for "Erosion control blanket including seeding as specified on
plans ".

I have sent our plan comments back to you. I had asked about a
pre - seeded erosion control mat and I now see that North American Green
manufactures cell -o -seed. Is that a viable alternative for us to use,
if so, I will change my pay item descriptions. Thanks
