All inspections are performed in accordance with Governing Contract documents and applicable Structural
Codes and standards
Location (s) Inspected Structural Steel Framing at lines 1 to 9, gdds A to M.
Inspector Comments:
Results are as follows,
As requested a visual inspection of the project noted above was conducted.
1) Column to pier anchor bolts comply for tensioning and nut engagement (base plates have not been grouted
yet).
*2) Bolted connections (beam to beam and beam to column) are still in progress of bolt installation and
bolt tensioning. Some of the beam bolt holes have been field torah enlarged. Engineer please advise.
*3) Several joist have less than 2 1/2" beadng. Engineer please advise.
*4) The joist bdd~ling was not installed as per structural drawin~ls. Engineer please advise.
'5) The perimeter angle to beam connections was not welded as per detail 01/S-4. Welds were spaced
at36" in lieu of 12".
*6) The installation of the knee braces (Ref. 04/S-4) is still in progress.
*7/ The erection of the clerestory framing (Ref. 02JS-2) is still in progress.
'8) The bottom chord of the joist at 21E does not extend to the column stabilizer plate. Engineer advise.
