In response to your request concerning activity or incidents worked
by the Coppell Police Department during the past year on Beltline Road
(from Shake & Shingle east to Grapevine Bridge), research reflects the
following:
1. A total of 12 accidents were worked, 5 of which were
injury accidents;
2. Four (4) cases of trespass;
3. One (1) weapons offense; and
4. Estimate several (6 -8) incidents of illegal dumping in
that area.
However, prior to January 1990, not all accidents reported to this
department resulted in an accident report being generated; so there may
have actually been more than our files reflect.
