Jim,
l've called: shawn micki; jeanne hooker; rick fielding; bob morris; and steve taylor oftxu between 8:28 am & 9:10 am. Pve left phone
numbers with all involved and paged steve taylor. It's my understanding that bob moms and steve taylor are managers who have the
authority to make things happen. Shawn, jeanne, rick and steve all called back and said that the person I needed to talk to was bob morris
and that they could not get in touch ~vith him. Shawn told me that once they get approval that it will take at least 4-5 days to clear the gas
service lines that should not have been there in the first place. Because no one could get hold of bob morris, I decided to call him and 1o and
behold he answered on the second ring. He said he's always available and that he would look into it because this was the first he had heard
of the problem and he would get back with me.
Yesterday I spoke with: howard lewis, randy smith and shawn micki. So, that makes 7 different people with txu I spoken to and the best
I've gotten is a promise to look into the situation and a timeline for work once the approval is given.
News Flash: As I was finishing this email Jeanne Hooker called and said the issue was resolved and work should begin Tuesday
(12/2) at_no cost to the City. It will still take several days so all told we will have lost about l& 1/2 weeks of work time.
