Re: work along Denton Creek
Ken, it is a city of Lewisville project. We are constructing a 36" water
supply line for Dallas water Utilities for our South side water pump
station. The line extends from Sandy Lake road thru Carrollton and the Gun
Club properties upto the Levee along Denton creek. We have also been
talking to some of the residents in your City across from the Creek.
Obviously they were curious and concerned about potential damages from
creek flooding etc. We are monitoring everything including removing excess
spoil from the site. Given the nature of a large pipeline project it's
hard to get the contractor to clean up as he is laying the pipe ,as you
know.

work along Denton Creek
T. Kumer
We have been receiving inquiries on what is happening along the east side
of Denton Creek within Carrollton. I've heard everything from the Gun Club
expanding to pipes being placed in the creek. Carrollton has told the
residents that they are not working in the area. I recall that at one time
Lewisville was going to construct an alternate water supply line along
Denton Creek.
Do you have any knowledge on what is going on along the east side of Denton
Creek? If it is Lewisville working, then I would like to know about the
work so I can convey the information to our citizens.
Thanks for your help.
