Puntumt to our telephone conversations, Papagolos & Associatos are under cou~'t with ~
Baptist Foundation of Texas to purchase the referenced property abutting the County's Gr~
Slxings P~scrve, Coppell, Texas. The Baptist Fo,,rut*~ion has requested that Dallas County
abandon/sell the right of way eas~nent off Coppell Road granted to the County of Dai/as by
ins~uneut dated May 26, 1936, executed by 1. D. Thweatt and recorded in Volmn¢ 21 g3, Page
383, Deed Records, Dallas Cotmty, Texas. Papagolos and Associate~ have indicated to Dallas
County that it would b~ interested in exchanging a 0.754 acre tract o£1and des/red by the Da/las
County Park and Open Space Program for the County's release of the fight of way easement An
exchange of the 0.754 acre tract would a/Iow Da/las County to capture the h/stor/¢ stone wal/s,
walks, steps and ~tO~le lined drainages that are currently outside the County's boundary lines of
the Park.

Upon completion of the appraisal, the Dallas County Commissioners Court must authorize the
exchange o/'properfles. Once the cxchange is conslmlmatcd and thc appropr/ate dccds are'
executed, the Dallas County Park and Open Space Administrator will amend the current lease
with the City of Coppo/I to include thc additional 0.754 acre tract o£county park property. We
ant/cipate the entire process to take up to three months.
