TEXA~ FAX c)72 Re: PD-108 R4, Westchase Dear Mr. Slob: Per our meeting nf March 25, 1999, Papagolos Development Company is willing to cstablish the attached Residential Construction Stan 'dards fi~r thc homes built in the proposed Westchase subdivision. In addition, we have been working with Ted Carnes, acoustical consultant with Pelton Marsh Kinsella and, per Mr. Carats, utilization of the following four construction upgrades would achieve a minimum noise reduction of 25 dBA. I. a concrete fiber siding such as Hardi-Board or other products that provide equal or greater sound reduction characteristics; 2. gypsum or asphalt based building board sheathing or other products that provide equal or b~eater sound reduction characteristics; 3. double pane windows with a minimum STC rating 28; and, 4. cxteriur doors in sleeping areas with a minimum STC rating of 28 and be air tight through use of effective perime'ter weather-stripping. In addition, Mr. Carnes would review all homo construction plans, prior to construction, insuring compliance with the attached list and the four upgrades.
