(nwc of Creekview & Royal Lane) Ken: This is the project that you and I discussed late last week, where Dexas asked about constructing a hooded left turn lane from Royal, lime stabilization, and placing the piers in casing. After going over their "unanticipated" costs with Jim, the possibility of granting a 100% roadway impact fee credit for the project was discussed. This would amount to an additional credit of $11,925 beyond the already noted 75% credit of approximately $35,775. This was mentioned because it is likely that this project will be one of the last to be developed in the Freeport North Business Park and from what I recall, a significant credit remains in the Royal Lane/Freeport North Business Park bank that will never be drawn down. This would be done through an economic development incentive agreement and only pertain to the roadway impact fees. Please let me know if you have any objection to, or comments on, this being done?
