Suzan,
As I was looking over the revised pavement marking detail that you sent me, ~ noticed some significant changes from the
previous details. In particular, the dimensions on the left turn lanes appear to have changed from 10.67' to 10.0' (from back-
of-curb to centerline of the buttons). With the revised button configuration, it would leave a left turn lane of just over 9' in
width. Additionally, I want to confirm the lane widths for through lanes. The revised detail does not give a distance to the
buttons from back-of-curb for two through lanes. It appears that they are shown in the center and not offset .33' as shown in
the original detail. I just want to make sure that we are not missing something or misunderstanding the revised detail before
we make revisions to our pavement marking plans. I appreciate your time and have a great day.
