ST9304-CS 960125 P.O. Box 478 Coppell, Texas 75019 Ms. Jill Brim, P.E. Dallas County Public Works 411 Elm Street Dallas, Texas 75202 P.O. Box 478 Coppell, Texas 75019 214-462-0022 January 25, 1996 Beltline Road Improvements (between MacArthur and Denton Tap Road) ST 93-04 Construction Plans Dear Ms. Brim: The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer: 1. Please add the City' s project number "ST 93-04" underneath the City of Coppell text on the title sheet. 2. Please provide PVC sleeves for street lighting and provide conduit for traffic signals at Mockingbird Lane and Moore Road. 3. Provide a redwood construction joint in driveways at the right-of-way line. 4. Provide an 8' brick paver band at all private driveways as indicated on the mark-up plans. Also, provide an 8' wide brick paver band on Northlake Road. 5. Provide a 60' radius for free right turn on Mockingbird Lane (refer to sheet 18 of 29). 6. On sheets 1 through 4 of the sheet layouts, the City's Leisure Services Division has indicated the location and size of PVC sleeves for irrigation purposes in the median. 7. Existing sign at Sta. 9+00 need to show to be relocated. 8. Show easements for Y-inlets located on the south side of Belt Line Road. 9. As per the City's Streetscape Plan, Moore Road is to be a fully brick paved intersection while Mockingbird Lane to have 8' brick paver bands. 10. At approximate Sta. 118+00 there is a note stating that the existing 3 - 30" RCP to remain. It appears this could conflict with the proposed grades at the road. There are various other minor comments throughout the plans. Once these comments have been addressed, the marked up plans along with three revised sets of plans should be resubmitted to the City for review. If you should have any questions concerning these comments, please contact me at 304-3681. Sincerely Michael A. Martin, E.I.T. Assistant City Engineer
