Worth, TX 76102 Driveway Access Coppell/121 Office Park Dear Mr. Bakintas, Thank you for your inquiry to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) regarding driveway access for your development(s) along the westbound frontage road of SH 121 near Denton Tap Rd. I have taken the liberty of numbering the proposed driveway locations on your aerial photograph to facilitate discussion. As you are aware, TxDOT's plans for constructing the main lanes of SH 121 include an exit ramp to be built in the vicinity of your development(s). Therefore, we cannot grant access for driveways #2 and #3 because they do not conform to our requirements for spacing downstream and upstream, respectively, of an exit ramp. Likewise, access for drive~vay #5 cannot be granted because it violates our policy on spacing requirements for driveways along a frontage road with regard to driveway #4. Driveway #6 is not on your property, hence, we cannot grant you access. The locations for driveways #1 and #4 are acceptable. If you have any questions, please contact Carla Bates at (972) 479-9747.
