Box 1729 Coppell, Texas 75019 LMC Mix Design Submittals First United Methodist Church Parking Lot Coppell, Texas Dear Mr. Rosenburg: Per the request of Mr. Eric Royal of RGC Construction, we have reviewed the enclosed mix design submittal data for the above referenced project. The purpose of our review was to determine if the submittal design mixes were in general conformance with plans and specifications. The following lists any deviations from specifications. LMC M~ Proposed Use PSI/Air LMC Mix # Slump Range Deviation from Specification Parking Areas and 3000 38 3 to 5 inch Sidewalks 3-6 % None Firelanes and 4000 42 3 to 5 inch Main Traffic Area 3-6 % None Comments: Mix No. 38 Based on the 64 sets of historical data submitted for Mix 38, the average concrete strength meets over- design requirements. The submittal does not indicate if this mix will be used for inlet construction (3000 psi). The contractor should indicate such after a decision has been made. ~leadows Bantist Church Auc, ust 17. 2001 Mix No. 42 Based on the 38 sets of historical data submitted for Mix 42, the average compressive strength exceeds AC1301 specifications for 4000 psi strength over-design. It should be noted historical data was submitted primarily for cooler weather months (December to April). Some adjustment to the mix may be necessary if concrete is placed during hot weather. The submittal does not indicate if the mix will be used for manhole consUmction (4000 psi). The contractor should indicate such after a decision has been made. We umst this meets your needs.
