Dear Mr. Griffin:
Please find attached revised change order number 3 for the above
referenced project. It has been revised to reflect the items
discussed at our meeting on Monday, April 22, 1996.
Items 1-6, the deletions, remain as shown on the original change
order. The additions to the contract, items 7-11 of the original
change order have been revised as follows:
Item 7 remains unchanged from original change order.
Item 8 has been reduced in price.
Item 9 (Median Brick Pavers) has been deleted.
Item 10 has been reduced in price.
Item 11 remains unchanged.
We are still requesting 5 additional working days be added to our
contract.
Per your request, we have mapped the pond with regards to existing
water and silt levels. After mapping the pond and considering
various options to reduce the water level and isolate the existing
headwall for connection, we believe this task can best be achieved
by constructing a temporary earth cofferdam. This cofferdam will
be constructed as near to the outfall of the exiting headwall as is
reasonable to allow for work space.
Due to this construction, we are anticipating a need to repair
and/or replace some existing landscape features. These may also
include repairs to existing underground sprinkler system in the
area. We will take measures to minimize any damage to these
features while also performing the work in a manner to provide the
shortest possible disruption to the homeowners and the pond itself.

A breakdown of the costs associated with item no. 8 has been
included, as requested.
A copy of the sketch showing the existing water and silt levels in
the pond has been enclosed as requested. Please do not hesitate to
