Construction Materials Testing and Environmental Consulting 10044 Monroe Drive GENERAL REPORT Report Date Client Project Identification Method of Test Technician: RG Dallas, Texas 75229 November 1, 2001 First United Methodist Church General Report No.: 3 Coppell First United Methodist Church New Parking Lot Observation of Pavement Subgrade visual At the request of Jesus of Hill and Wilkinson, a representative of our firm visited the above referenced site. The purpose was to observe an area of pavement subgrade at the west and east ends of the parking lot ready to be compacted. Observations were performed to ensure that exposed soils had a plasticity index of 20 or less. A dozer was used to rip subgrade to a depth of six (6) inches in the north -south drives at the east and west ends of the parking lot. Except for a thirty (30) foot section southeast of the future building, from zero (0) to three (3) inches of suitable material was observed. Dark gray clays were exposed or underlying the suitable material at most locations. Due to the subgrade material having a high plasticity index, Jesus said Hill Wilkinson is considering importing lime for the north -south drives. cc: Mr. John Rosenberg First United Methodist Church (2) Mr. Ray Larson First United Methodist Church Mr. Eric Royal First United Methodist Church Mr. Larry Davis City of Coppell Mr. Bob Colon Hill Wilkinson (2) Texas CMT, Inc.
