Identification Observation and Sampling of Pavement Subgrade
At the request of Jesus of Hill and Wilkinson, a representative of our firm visited the above
referenced site. The purpose was to observe an area of pavement subgrade ready to be
compacted in the south central portion of the proposed parking lot. Observations and testing
were performed to ensure that exposed soils had a plasticity index of 20 or less.
A total of six (6) test pits of exposed pavement subgrade were excavated to a depth of six (6)
inches.
Results of a representative test sample obtained are as follows:
