Enclosed please find three (3) copies of our revised Preliminary Paving Plan/Profile submittal for the referenced
project. I have also enclosed the original marked set of plans and drainage area maps. We have made the revisions
discussed in our meeting of October 18. 1095 and as outlined in y6'ur letter dated October 17, 1995.
Additionally, we offer the following discussions and responses regarding comments contained in the revie~v
set of plans and your letter:
PAVING COMMENTS
1. Complete.
,
The proposed benchmarks have been relocated on the project layout sheets. The final locations will be
determined in the field and reflected on the appropriate paving plan.
Property owners, addresses and file numbers are currently being determined and will be shown on the paving
plans and right-of-way documents.
4-5. Complete.
Additional field work will be required to determine existing pavement elevations noah of the entrance to
Riverside Church. Once this field work is complete, we anticipate extending the tie-in point to the noah,
reducing the proposed pavement grades and incorporating a vertical curve.
7.-9. Complete.
10.
Conduit sleeves will be added during the final design phase of the project. Sleeve locations shall be provided
by the City of Coppell.
11.
Drainage and slope easement geometry. will be established during the drainage system design. Upon
completion, the>' will be shown on the paving sheets.

15. The right-of-way will dimensioned on the right-of-way plans.
16.- 17. Complete.
DRAINAGE COMMENTS
1. Per our telephone conversation of October 26, 1995, The Y-inlets are sized to receive runoffunder existing
conditions. An RCP stubout will be provided for future tie-ins under fully developed conditions. We have
added the existing 100-year discharges for the affected drainage areas to the drainage area map. The size
of the RCP stubout has also been noted on the paving plans.
2-8. Complete. .~
9. We have explored the possibility of eliminating this Y-inlet. Based on our preliminary investigation. we
recommend leaving this inlet in-place. The additional fill required to cause drainage area I-4 to drain to the
east would, offset any savings achieved by deleting the inlet. We will continue to evaluate this item as the
drainage improvements are developed.
10. Complete.
1 I. The reference to a Y-inlet has been removed from the paving plan at station 117+00.
Please call if you have any questions or require additional information.
