Dear Ms. Schneberger:
This letter is written as a follow-up to our telephone conversation of May 23, 1995 in which we
discussed various aspects of the intersections. The following represents my commems
concerning those intersections:
Beltline Road @ Moore Road
Use the suggested three center curve radii with 5 foot offset and a 90 square foot island.
Beltline Road @ Mockingbird
Use a simple curve radius of 60 foot for the inside curve with a lane width of 20 feet.
Beltline Road @ MacArthur (west bound right turn lane)
Use a simple curve radius of 50 foot with a painted island and a lane width of 18 feet.
Beltline Road @ MacArthur (east bound right turn lane)
Use a three center compound curve of 150-50-150 with a 5 foot offset, an 80 square foot
island and a lane width of 18 feet.
