Project Delay
Dear Mr. Griffin:
On January 27, 1995, Dallas County hand delivered a set of alignment plans for the proposed
project. At that lime three issues were discussed with the City staff:
A public hearing for the subject project may not be necessary because the
alignment of the road was not changing.
Dallas County has accepted the preliminary alignment prepared by the Consultant.
As soon as Coppell approves the alignment the Consultant will be directed to
begin preliminary plan preparation.
Dallas County requested a reply to these issues by February 10, 1995.
On March 1, 1995, Dallas County received a reply from Coppell's staff. The reply addressed
none of the issues discussed above. Coppell's letter addresses the alignment as if it were a plan
submittal and requests drainage area maps and storm drainage plans.
The alignment must be approved by Coppell before the Consultant will be directed to begin plan
preparation. Please contact either myself or Jill M. Schneberger as soon as possible to recli~'
this situation.
