RE: Beltline Road Improvements (between MacArthur and Denton Tap Road) ST 93-04
Construction Plans
Dear Ms. Schneberger:
The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer:
1. Increase storage length for the two east bound lane left turn lanes to a minimum of 120' in order to
accommodate WB-60 vehicles.
2. Show location of street lights in median.
3. Provide rubberized crossing at the TU Electric railroad spur and sign crossing according to MUTUD. Do we
need lights and a gate also?
4. Contact Rick Wieland, Parks Planner, at 304-3554 regarding a sidewalk located under Grapevine Creek
bridge.
5. Provide drainage area map and storm drainage plans.
6. Provide a concrete railing similar to the one on sheet 69 of the Denton Tap Road plans (copy included).
There are various other minor comments throughout these plans. Once these comments have been addressed, the
revised set of plans should be resubmitted to the City for review. If you should have any questions concerning these
