Geometric Alignment Study - Coppell's comments
Dear Mr. Kunz:
Attached is the revised Alignment Study submitted for review. Please note the following
comments in addition to the comments shown on the plans.
1. Show the locatiorl of the recently constructed Riverside Church of Christ. This could
affect the locatioh~ of the low point inlet. Coppell has included the plat for this
development.

The location of the existing and the proposed right-of-way is unclear. The City of
Coppell requires only 110' of right-of-way for the typical section but does request that
the right-of-way be widened to 130' at the Moore, Mockingbird and MacArthur
intersections.
Has the railroad and/or T.U. Electric been contacted about upgrading the railroad spur
crossing with gates or lights? Coppell and the County would like to be included in these
discussions with the responsible parties.
To assist in placing the 'median opening at approximate station 116+00, Coppell has
included the plat for the development immediately to the south of this station.
Coppell has expressed an interest in adding sidewalks to the bridge over Grapevine Springs
Creek. Coppell has been given an estimate of their construction cost for adding sidewalks these
to the. bridge and is scheduled to decide on the issue of the sidewalks and on the issue of the 3:1
or 4:1 side slopes by December 30, 1994. The County will pass on this information as soon as
Coppell notifies us 'of their decision. Based upon this schedule, please plan on resubmitting the
alignment and the attached marked set of plans by January 11, 1995. Please call me at 653-715 1
