Dear Ken:
The following items summarize our recent discussions pertaining to the referenced project.
The typical roadway section will consist of six 11-foot wide lanes (2 sections at
34 feet back-to-back), a 22-foot wide median, and a 10-foot wide parkway. We
will continue to use a 4:1 maximum slope as much as possible. A 3:1 maximum
slope will be used as needed to keep the slopes within the right-of-way as directed
by Dallas County Public Works.
The drainage design criteria will be the current City of Dallas 100-year event
using Technical Paper Hydro 35. Runoff coefficients will be modified as follows:
Residential
Commercial
c = 0.5
c = 0.9/0.95 (based on site usage)
The above criteria is our understanding of the City of Coppell's requirements for the
project. If this is not correct, please notify Halff Associates as soon as possible. If you
