Box 478 Coppell, TX 75019 THE GINN CORPORATION Consulting Engineers June 15, 1994 ~C~, ~ ~' Agree~eBt for Engineering Se~ices Public I~provements City Coppe!!, Texas and Ginn, Inc., Consulting Engineers August 1983 Dear Mr. Witt: We acknowledge receipt of your letter dated May 16, 1994. Our firm has only one contract with the City under which we have provided consulting services for many projects throughout the years. It appears that the intent of your letter is to cancel an assignment (the design of Beltline Road) and keep the contract in force for the remainder of the Grapevine Creek Sewer project. For clarification, only because this predates your time with the City, there has not been any confusion between our firm and the City regarding the Beltline Road (E/W) project. The City specifically authorized our firm to design this project in 1986. We have provided numerous route studies, preliminary designs, alternative cost estimates, etc. through the years with the anticipation of completing the design as soon as the final route alignment was determined. We respect the City's right to terminate this assignment. In accordance with the terms of the contract, under Section X, Termination, we will review our files and submit to the City a statement for the amount of work performed prior to the date of this termination of the assignment. 17103 Preston Road · Suite 205 · Dallas, Texas 75248 * Phone 214/248-4900 P.O. However, we realize the best interest of the City may be served by having Dallas County complete the project. This project is really needed in the interest of regional mobility. The City of Coppell has been an excellent client, and it is our hope that the City will continue to use our firm for other projects in the future. Sincerely, H. Wayne Ginn, P.E.
