The City of Coppell criteria is not applicable to TxDOT roads. Please
check the TxDOT roadway design manual for TxDOT criteria. I have
attached a file that will help you navigate to the site.

Hello Carla,
We are in the process of designing a deceleration lane to a proposed
driveway on the southbound service road of S.H. 121, just west of
Denton
Tap Road in Coppell. Please recall we've previously discussed this
particular site and we are proceeding with construction plans for the
approved driveway.
The City's deceleration lane criterion specifies a 100-ft transition
length and a 60-ft stacking lane. We've also noted that there are
several auxiliary lanes, of this length, on the noH:h bound service
road, opposite this site. Please confirm that this transition and
stacking length is acceptable. If not, please identify minimum
required
length for a deceleration lane on this frontage road.
