Mr. Mark Askew 1204 Hillcrest Gainsville, TX 76240 RE: Golden Triangle Water Line and Fire Hydrant Installation Project #WA00-02 Dear Mr. Askew: The City of Coppell has been working with Dallas County on the design of a water line to provide fire protection to the Golden Triangle Mobile Home Park. There have been several meetings in the field with representatives of the Golden Triangle Mobile Home Park concerning this project. At this time, the plans are nearing completion and the City of Coppell is in the process of trying to obtain the necessary easements to move the project forward. To install the water line on your property to provide fire protection, an easement is required off of Coppell Road that will contain the water line and the fire hydrants. Also, an easement is required on the north side of the property adjacent to Oak Grove Lane that will allow an additional fire hydrant to be placed near the northwestern section of the mobile home park. With this letter I am including copies of the utility easements. Once these easements have been dedicated to the City and the plans finalized, the City of Coppell can begin the process of bidding the project for construction. We also are concurrently working with your neighbor to the north, Alford Media, to obtain an easement to allow us to connect the proposed water line to the existing water line in Oak Grove Lane that services Alford Media.
