Please send us enough sets of the grading plan set so the city can have two sets, and so you have enough for the contractors. Once we have those,we'll release the permit. At that point you'll need to set up a preconstruction conference with Larry Davis. Feel free to call me to discuss any additional questions you may have. The cover sheet should state "For Early Grading Only." 2. Due to the floodplain issues on this lot, we will require that you flag the limits of the floodplain as they are currently shown on the map. That way our inspector can ensure that there is no grading, filling or excavation work being done within the limits of the floodplain. 3. No permit for the storm drainage work is being issued at this time, only the fight to fill some of these lots. Ensure that drainage across this property from the adjacent property continues in its present pattern while this grading work is being completed. 4. You need to ensure that any existing sanitary sewer or water service is plugged or taken out of service to avoid inadvertently placing materials within those systems. 5. Ensure that all erosion and sedimentation control devices are set up properly to avoid stormwater contamination. At this point the City needs for its use two copies of the revised and approved plans, and any copies that are needed by the contractor. We will stamp and sign each set, and return the ones for the contractor with the permit. All contractors working on the site need to have the stamped approved set of plans. Sincerely, Keith R.
