Ken is technically out of the office today and all of next week. I will ask about the height of the railing at his
earliest convenience. Go ahead and design a temporary structure to allow for traffic flow during the demolition
and construction of the new bridge. There is an outside possibility that the City Council would approve closing
the roadway if the construction of the bridge took place during the summer. We will review the options when
we are closer to construction of the project.

/~ have another question for you concerning the bridge replacement on Bethel Road. Are there plans for the proposed
sidewalk on either side of the bridge to became a hike & bike trail? We were wanting to know this because it affects
the height of the wall along the bridge. If it will eventually be o bike trail, this raises the potential for someone on a
bicycle to fall over the side of the bridge if it is too Iow.
