Dear Mr. Holmes:
It appears that fill operations on the captioned project have encroached into the
floodway/floodplain. You were instructed to mark the limits of the floodplain prior to
beginning fill operations on this property, as the floodplain issues have yet to be resolved.
You are to make immediate corrections to the work that has been done in order to remove
any fill that has been placed within the limits of the floodplain.
Two other observations on the project:
1. Erosion control measures need to be re-established to be effective as provided for in the
City of Coppell's Erosion & Sedimentation Control Ordinance. A copy of this document
was provided to your office before the project started.
2. A stabilized construction entrance needs to be re-established and consistently used by your
contractors. Equipment and vehicles are being driven off the dirt directly onto Deforest
Road, causing an unstable driving condition.
