Box 478 Coppell, Texas 75019 214-462-0022 June 18, 1997 Greg Saunders Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. 910 Collier Street Fort Worth, TX 76102-3542 RE: Sandy Lake Road ST 93-02 Dear Mr. Saunders: Recently while negotiating right-of-way, it came to my attention that right-of-way Parcel was provided to the City incorrectly. Right-of-way Parcel #33 shows Scott Hulen as the owner of the tract of the land between Highland Oaks and the TU property, with a frontage of approximately 336.28 feet. In actuality, this is two tracts of land with a small portion being owned by Mr. Hulen and a larger part being owned by Mr. McBride. I am including a copy of our tax roll maps that show Tract #22 as being a small tract owned by Scott Hulen and Tract #30 as being the larger tract owned by Mr. McBride. This land was subdivided in the late 1970's so therefore there should have been some record of it when your surveyor was researching the property. Right-of-way Parcel//33 needs to be revised with two separate parcels provided to the City, one for Mr. Hulen and one for Mr. McBride. Also, the tax maps shows that there could be some right-of-way existing along the west side of Mr. McBride's property. That should also be researched so that accurate maps are provided to the City so that correct right-of-way can be purchased. Please make these changes as soon as possible and provide them to us so that we can continue with our attempt at acquiring right-of-way for the construction of Sandy Lake Road. Also, it is the City's intent to begin construction on at least the Dallas water line aspect of this project this year. Please provide the status of the construction plans and the prospect of beginning construction on the lowering of the 30" water line in the fall of 1997.
