Danny,
I've looked over the revisions to the plans. I have two changes we need to make.
On the plat, lot X8 should read "drainage an utility easement".
On the grading plan, include a note that roof drains will be carried across the back of the units with a down
spout in the vicinity of the private drain system. You may want to lower the top of the private drain on the
north side of the development to ensure the water from the northwest corner can be made to drain to the
new inlet.
In order to proceed from here, please make these changes, then submit full sets of plans for the city
approval stamp. Submit 3 sets for the city to keep, and as many sets as your contractor will need on site.
The only plans we want to see on site are ones with our stamp and signature on the cover.
Ken Griffin sent a preliminary fee assessment to Kurt Jones on February 11, 2004. The fees for Park and
Roadway Impacts need to be paid before the permit is issued. An additional point concerning impact fees
- the city agreed to charge impact fees at the rate for a 3/4" meter, however I want to point out that the fee
for the meter itself will be based on the fee for a 2" meter. This fee is payable when the meters are
acquired.
In addition, the contractor will need to fill out a permit application, and pay the appropriate inspection fees.
As you are probably aware, these fees are calculated at 2% of the contract cost for work on private
property, and 4% for public work. We should be supplied with a copy of the contract for verification
purposes.
Once all these items have been taken care of, the contractor will need to set up a pre-construction
conference with Garreth Campbell, the Construction Inspector for the project.
Feel free to call or respond with any questions or comments.

Danny,
One last thing:
We still need the hydraulic calculations for the sprinkler system to verify the adequacy of the two inch
service for each unit. Please have that information sent to the Fire Marshall.
