Review Comments for 30" RC Water Design
My staff has reviewed your preliminary plans showing proposed
alignments for the 30" water transmission-
Our comments are as follows:
1.) The profile for the 30" DWU Water main coincides with
Coppell's 36" water. Provide a separate profile for the 30"
main.
2.) Maintain a minimum cover of 6 Ft. for the proposed 30" main
throughout the paving limit.
3.) The proposed 30" main must clear all utility crossings a
minimum vertical clearance of 0.50 Ft.
4.) Use grade breaks or vertical curves in lieu of vertical
bends, in particular at sta. 6+50 to 7+75.
5.) Limit the extent of water main replacement within the
proposed pavement. Make connections to the existing main 5 Ft.
off paving limits.
We are returning your preliminary half-size plan marked with
comments. Please provide us with a cost estimate to construct
the 30" Water main to update our funding for this project.
Also, we are supplying you the enclosed copy of DWU plan
41iQ308D Sh. 1,3,4 r~ 14 of our Maple ~venue project~ showing in
particular the relocation of a 36" water main for your
reference.
Please call me or Jun Battad at tel. 918-4591 if you have any
questions.
