Exceptions to this will be considered only upon written requests. Written requests must and will be handled through Dallas County. In no instance, however, will the safety and convenience of the public be sacrificed for the convenience of the Contractor. 4. JOB SUPERINTENDENT: It should be emphasized that the project superintendent must be a full time employee of Zachry Construction Corp. and be available on the project aa well as being capable and if necessary to have the authority to carry out appropriate directives from Dallas County promptly. 5. SPECIAL PROVISION TO ITEM 100: Contractor is reminded of the requirements of this special provision which indicates the contractor's respons~ility to identify vertical and horizontal location of underground utilities that may be in conflict. Included in Preparation of Right of Way. 6. MATERIAL TESTING: Any discussion relative to scheduling of testing services, contractor's co~t for overtime, scheduling procedures, etc. ~ ~ ~ (~at~ 7. Belt Line Road Project 91-829 (Denton Tap Road to MacArthur Boulevard) Commencement of Construction Please be advised that construction is beginning for the widening and improvement of Belt Line Road near and/or adjacent to your property or business. Construction should begin approximately , 2000. Duration of construction activities for the entire project is expected to be approximately 22 months. If you presently have sprinklers, signs or any other encroachments on the right-of-way, you should make arrangements for their relocation at this time. We would much appreciate you furnishing us a telephone number where you can be reached during business hours. This will aid in providing you information of upcoming construction which may impact your property or access. Dallas County, the City of Coppell, the City of Dallas and Zachry Construction, plan to keep inconveniences caused you at a minimum and trust and your cooperation will enable this endeavor to be successful.
