Copperstone Subdivision, Lot 6, Block A (474 Copperstone)
The property owner at 474 Copperstone contacted us concerning their ability to construct a
swimming pool and deck that will encroach into the utility easement at the rear and side of their
property (see attached exhibit). The City has no utilities in the existing easement.
The Engineering Department has been in contact with Oncor, Comcast and Verizon and they have
no objection to the proposed partial utility easement encroachment (see attached letters).
To expedite this request, is it possible for the property owner to provide a Hold Harmless
Agreement letter and proceed with the construction of the pool? If need be, at some future date we
can process an abandorm~ent of the easement.

Dear Mr. Hall:
We have been contacted by the property owner at 474 Copperstone Trail concerning
their ability to construct a swimming pool and deck that ~vill encroach into the utility
easement at the rear and side of this property. The City has no utilities in the existing
easement and is currently in the process of contacting the various franchise utility
companies to ascertain whether or not they have existing facilities in the easement.
Please review the enclosed exhibit and notify me of any concerns you might have
with this encroachment. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to

CoppelL Texas. .[his letter is not an abandonment of the easement but at this
time Vedzon does not have facllttles running through the easement. We do ask
that the home owner have all utilities located before any digging Is done.
