From: Date: RE: Greg Jones, Chief Building Official Keith Marvin, P.E., Civil Engineer April 20, 2004 Copperstone Subdivision, Lot 6, Block A (474 Copperstone) The property owner at 474 Copperstone contacted us concerning their ability to construct a swimming pool and deck that will encroach into the utility easement at the rear and side of their property (see attached exhibit). The City has no utilities in the existing easement. The Engineering Department has been in contact with Oncor, Comcast and Verizon and they have no objection to the proposed partial utility easement encroachment (see attached letters). To expedite this request, is it possible for the property owner to provide a Hold Harmless Agreement letter and proceed with the construction of the pool? If need be, at some future date we can process an abandorm~ent of the easement. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
