RE: Sidewalk Repair, 2003
Mr. Griffin,
I recently received the contract extension and list of sidewalk repairs for 2003. I appreciate the
work and look forward to working with the City of Coppell this year. My demolition and
backfill superintendent, Charles Crabtree, who handled the project in 2001 and 2002 broke his
leg and ankle in an accident and was operated on last week. The doctors advised that he will be
unable to work for at least two (2) months. Because of his experience on this project, I would
prefer to start the work after he returns. In any case, we would start no later than May 15, 2003.
If there are emergencies or sensitive repairs that need quicker response, we can mobilize as
necessary.
Please let me know if this is satisfactory. I expect the repairs should take three to four weeks to
complete.
